01 Dec Dog Holiday Fair: an East Village pop-up at School For The Dogs
Join us December 10th for our first annual Dog Holiday Fair! This year, in addition to our photos with Santa, we will be hosting a variety of local makers who specialize in all things dog. Please come peruse these mostly-handmade goods, and load up on adorable gifts for dogs and dog-lovers alike. (We will also be offering a 20% discount on all items in our shop).
Some of the vendors who will be attending:
Pawmiscuous is a Manhattan-based maker of highly adorable clothes and accessories for both pets and people. Its founder, Mariko, will be coming with cute wares, some of which she will be able to customize on the spot!
Fitz + Fellow was created in part to make sure that our longtime student, Zelda, had only the cushiest, classiest beds in her home. Come checkout these versatile, easily-cleanable, highly-lovable beds in a variety of styles and colors.
Two Brooklynites started chic leash company Found My Animal when they met on the streets of Brooklyn, each walking a dog named Walter. They fell in love with each other, and with the idea of making…leashes. We’re planning to stock up on these stylish-yet-simple leads (made of sturdy, woven, three-strand whipped fisherman’s rope) and perhaps you should, too.
Your dog has attitude — and his gear can reflect that! Moving beyond standard leash/collar embellishments (bones, hearts, yawn), the ladies behind local business Shed (one of them owner of our beloved pibble client Petunia) have come up with a bevy of super cute dog “brunch ware” items that are sure to please the hip NYC pup and his humans.
(Interested in having a table at the event? Spaces are limited. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get you set up!)
