We’re open with COVID specific procedures in place

Revised March 18, 2022

Below are the measures that we hope will continue to ensure the health and safety of our clients, staff and community:

General Health & Safety Protocols
  • Face masks are now optional in the store area.
  • However, we are continuing to require that face masks are worn in our school during services with multiple people, as we do not have a quick and non-invasive way to verify the vaccination status of clients. We have masks available for clients at the front desk and in the downstairs area.
  • Private one-on-one sessions: if consent is given by both trainer and client, face masks may be removed for private sessions.
Ventilation
  • We have an ultraviolet light/air purifier in our HVAC system to aid in killing bacteria and pathogens.
  • Staff will open the doors in our upstairs room to provide fresh air (weather permitting) during or after a service.
Cleaning Protocols
  • We continue to use RESCUE, and Clean Break, EPA approved disinfectants which kill dangerous pathogens including SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, on our floors and for all surfaces that dogs touch or lick including bowls, food toys and Klimbs.

In addition to the general safety protocols above, we also have some additional protocols for specific services:

Group Classes & Off-Leash Services
  • A maximum of two guardians per dog/puppy may now attend Group Classes and Off-Leash classes.
  • During Group Classes, each student has a socially distant “pen” in which they will remain unless instructed.
Still not comfortable with or able to participate in in-person training?
Don't worry – we have a host of virtual services you can partake in from the comfort of your own home, including one on one video training sessions, virtual group classes and virtual workshops.
