We offer a variety of dog training group classes for dogs of all ages, levels and temperaments.

Puppy Kindergarten

Puppy Kindergarten is a 6-week group class that covers important foundation behaviors and puppy topics including socialization, play, handling and house-training. In addition to these important topics, you’ll start teaching your puppy the basic skills needed for NYC living. Puppies must be 16 weeks or younger.

Prep School

Prep School is a 6-week basic manners class designed to teach and strengthen your teenage or adult dog’s essential manners skills while learning to add in challenges such as distance, distraction and duration. You'll not only improve your dog's behavior but also foster a deeper bond with them that will last a lifetime.

Grad School

Continue to strengthen your dog’s behavior and sharpen your own training skills in this 5-week advanced class with fun exercises and games that build on skills and concepts learned in Prep School, adding in advanced challenges with distractions, duration and distance.

Prerequisite: Prep School

Canine Good Citizen Preparation Course

This class will focus on the 10 required items included in the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Test.

Prerequisite: Trainer Approval

Urban Leash Walking

Urban Leash Walking is a 5-week class that will give you and your dog the skills needed to successfully navigate the streets of NYC without leash pulling, scavenging and planting ruining your walks. You’ll learn how to communicate clearly and effectively so leash walks can be fun for both you and your dog despite the challenges of an urban environment.

Calm Canine

Calm Canine is an innovative 5-week class for dogs that have difficulty settling at home, or in new environments. This course will help you to learn how to manage and moderate your dog's stress and arousal levels, teach impulse control, and help teach them to focus on you even around distractions.

Sidewalk Psychos Level 1

Sidewalk Psychos is an 8-week group class with an urban focus specifically designed for NYC dogs who bark, lunge or growl at other dogs on leash walks. You’ll learn handling and prevention techniques, specifically designed to work in urban environments, and effective ways to improve your dog’s coping skills in the presence of other dogs.

Sidewalk Psychos Level 2

Build on your skills from Sidewalk Psychos Level 1. In this 5-week class, you will review concepts from Level 1, explore greetings and possibly play, and challenge your dog by taking your skills out to the streets for a group walk and outdoor practice.

Stranger Danger

Stranger Danger is an 8-week group class designed specifically for dogs who bark, lunge, growl, or show other signs of threatening behavior towards strangers. You’ll learn handling and prevention techniques as well as effective ways to help safely improve your dog’s coping skills around unfamiliar people.

Tricks Level 1

Teaching tricks is the perfect way to exercise your dog’s mind and body without a lot of space or a big time commitment. In this 5-week class you will learn a repertoire of fun tricks while also helping to build your dog’s confidence.

Prerequisite: Trainer Approval or Prep School

Tricks Level 2

In this 5-week class, use the building-blocks learned in Tricks Level 1 to teach your dog more advanced behaviors, including behavior chains, differentiation, and even cleaning up their toys.

Prerequisite: Tricks Level 1

Barkour

This 5-week class will teach you how to use at home objects to increase your dog’s physical fitness and to build indoor obstacle courses to exercise your dog. Great for rainy days, or small spaces.

Prerequisite: Trainer Approval

Intro To Scent Work

In this 5-week course you’ll learn the basics to teaching your dog to use their nose to track and locate something you’ve hidden, beginning with food and moving onto odor pairing. Dogs attending this class should not have any serious behavioral concerns, and should be able to easily work in a room with people and other dogs.
