Dog Socialization Training Sessions

These one-on-one 30-minute dog training socialization sessions offer safe, trainer-supervised exposure and practice with one of our helper dogs or another dog enrolled in ongoing training with School For The Dogs.

These dog training socialization sessions are great for:

  • Shy or fearful puppies
  • Overly confident puppies who could benefit from some safe adult dog interactions
  • Puppies who have never met an adult dog
  • Dogs with on-leash reactivity who are ready to work on their skills in closer proximity to other dogs
  • Dogs with specific greeting or play skills deficits

These sessions will help you and your dog:

  • Fill the bank with neutral or positive canine experiences
  • Develop and practice coping skills around other dogs
  • Learn to identify and cultivate appropriate canine social skills
  • Curate greetings or play interactions safely

Bandit, Male Boxer Mix ~5 years old

Originally hailing from the streets of Turkey, Bandit has proven his reliability over the past 3 years with a variety of dogs. While he is most certainly a “looky-loo” (Eg. a Boxer who enjoys a nice stare) he is adept at greeting or simply existing with dogs of any temperament. One of his strengths is his ability to diffuse tension or conflict with his legendary spin move.
