Dog walking services are available to School For The Dogs clients in our service area within Manhattan.
Walkers are trained in reinforcement-based and force-free handling principles
Walkers communicate closely with their clients to build each dog's personalized walk experience
They also communicate directly with trainers to ensure cohesion across School For The Dogs services
Our regular “one walker per dog” policy both strengthens the dog/walker bond and maximizes consistency in each dog’s routine
New walking clients can be referred by their trainer, or apply on their own via the new client form
The walking program director will reach out to provide further information within 48 hours of application
Dog walks are only available to School For The Dogs clients currently working with one of our Certified Trainers

* Packages are purchasable by SFTD members only.
** Additional dogs can be added to walks only from the same household. No multi-dog, multi-household walks, “pack” walks, or walks of more than 2 dogs simultaneously are offered.
*** Transportation walks are to/from SFTD only, and must be 20 minutes or fewer in duration.
