Intro To Scent Work
Teach your dog to use their nose to track and locate something you’ve hidden, beginning with food and moving onto odor pairing, in this five week course.
- Strengthen the bond you have with your dog by working together
- For this class, dog should not have significant behavior issues, or have trouble working in an environment with other dogs or people
- No prior training required
- Proof of up-to-date Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP/DA2PP vaccines are required to participate
About the Instructor
Eric Goebelbecker started working with dogs as a volunteer more than 15 years ago when he adopted a rescue dog named Caffeine. (The name fit.)
After finishing an apprenticeship at St. Hubert's Dog Training School and completing certification with the Karen Pryor Academy, he discovered the wonders of scent work and spends most of his free time playing around with this fun and useful concept.
