School For The Dogs Certified Professional Trainers (SFTD-CPT's) are graduates of our 6-month Professional Dog Trainer Course who have passed a rigorous exam that tests both their practical and theoretical abilities as dog trainers.
In addition to having shown an excellent understanding of learning theory and the application of the science of behavior as it applies to animal training, our Certified Professional Trainers have been mentored closely by our senior staff, and have demonstrated excellent handling techniques and problem solving skills.
Our Certified Professional Trainers always use the least aversive, most effective methods possible when training dogs, and are committed embracing opportunities to continue their professional education on the job and in the classroom.
